She makes me smile

I just can't help it. She makes me smile every single time I look at her. I sometimes think about how she came to be ours, although that is a silly question, because I do know the answer. But still, the stars must have been in perfect alignment. Every path chosen was the one leading us to her. And when it was to be her time, we were there waiting to love her. That will forever make me smile.

Even when she isn't smiling, I am.

And this is how our little cupcake looked last night after her 18 month doctor appointment. She was showing off her Hello Kitty Band-aids.....she had more vaccines :(  Her check up went so well, and her doctor is SO pleased with her progress. She is topping the scales at 19.12 pounds! (that is up almost three pounds since coming home) She grew another inch in the last month too, she is 29.5 inches long.

Life does not get any better then this. Our little darling makes us all smile.
