4 years ago today, we found out that she was ours and we were hers. I remember everything about that day, and that moment when my eyes first saw her. I will never forget the overwhelming sense of gratitude and love that washed over me. She has owned my heart for forever. She is a remarkable little person, with a light and love and intensity about her that I cannot explain. She is our blessing, our miracle and our answered prayer.
