Lily woke up Christmas morning and she was so excited. We heard her singing, "happy birthday to Jesus" and "high ho the dairy-o, it's Christmas day", as she bounced down the stairs. She was thrilled to see that Santa fit coming down our chimney. She had actually worried that he might get stuck! She squealed when she saw her stocking stuffed with goodies. We had fun opening gifts. She took her time at first but then got into the gift opening groove. Her brothers were adorable with her. Soon after, we packed up and headed to Steamboat Springs to be with family and ring in the new year.
She had asked me earlier what I wanted for Christmas. I told her nothing, that I already had the best gift in the whole wide world....her and her brothers!!
