Flower Girl

Lily loves to pick flowers, especially yellow flowers. We have several bushes in our backyard that have tiny yellow flowers. They are practically picked bare! She loves to smell them and hold them. She was somewhat helpful when I was planting my front porch flower pots, until she saw the yellow ones. Oh, she wanted to pick those so badly! We bought a yellow watering can, so her job is to water the flowers. She is so careful to make sure every pot gets a good soak. It's so funny to me....when the boys were little it was all about the dirt. Lily is all about the pretty flowers. Everynight when we walk Woody, she comes home with a stroller full of flowers. Sometimes she plucks the petals off and sometimes she clutches her bouquet until its time for bed :) Next week, we have an outing planned to the Botanic Gardens. I know it will be a huge success. Love my little flower girl!
