Spring Break (and a sick baby)

This week was spring break for the boys. We did a whole lot of nothing! Unfortunately, Lily came down with something on Monday and by Wednesday we were at the doctors, after she had a fainting spell which gave this mama a near heart attack. They think it was due to a spike in her fever but ran blood and urine tests just to be sure. Thankfully, everything was normal and we didn't experience that horror again. She is just now starting to feel better. It has been a week of sniffles, coughing, runny noses, sore throats, fevers, late night steam showers, and lots and lots of holding, snuggling, and loving. Peter and Will did manage to have some fun with friends....camping, fly fishing, rock climbing and a day of skiing. Because its been so warm, the skiing was a bust according to Will, or "like skiing in mashed potatoes". Time to summer wax those skies.

While not one hundred percent, Lily is bouncing back to her happy little self so today we played for a bit in the backyard. The weather has been beautiful and I think she was happy to enjoy some time outdoors. By the way, is there anything sweeter then a sick baby saying, "thank you mama" every time I wiped her nose? She is so stinkin' precious :)
